On July 24, the final of the "AI Agents for Longevity" hackathon took place, bringing together over 100 specialists from different countries to collaboratively solve challenges in biotechnology and artificial intelligence. KAMA FLOW Investment Director Sergey Gaivoronsky participated as a jury member, evaluating promising projects.
Participants worked on tasks in three main areas:
- LLM Benchmark based on OpenGenes: development of metrics and tasks for assessing language models in extracting facts from scientific publications on aging. The work was based on a manually annotated database of over 1,700 articles reviewed by biologists.
- AI agents for extracting ligand–protein binding data from patents: creation of an open-source pipeline for finding and structuring parameters (IC50, Ki) in unstructured patents, including automated reading, filtering, and validation of information.
- Longevity Priority: tools for identifying and ranking the most promising directions in aging science based on the analysis of scientific publications, patents, and industry reports.
