The deal became the first major private investment in a segment that has emerged around the product labeling and traceability system, according to Vedomosti.

CALLISTO VISION develops hardware and software systems for production lines. One of its key solutions is laser marking of aluminum cans at speeds of up to 80,000 units per hour. The group’s technologies are currently used on more than 150 production lines, and in 2025 they were used to mark over 6 billion units of продукции. Projects have been implemented in Russia, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia. CALLISTO VISION’s technologies were previously evaluated by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during an exhibition of Russian industrial innovations.

The funds raised are expected to be directed toward business development both domestically and in international markets. In the near term, the group is also considering M&A deals with Russian and foreign partners from friendly countries.

According to KAMA FLOW partner Pavel Okhonin, exports could become one of the key drivers of the company’s growth:

“Growing international interest in Russia’s experience in labeling and traceability creates additional scaling opportunities for CALLISTO VISION. There is potential demand for such solutions in the EAEU countries, China, and the Middle East.”
